What we don't collect
Lullscape does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
- Your name, email address, or any account credentials
- Location data
- Audio recordings or microphone data
- Device identifiers used for advertising or tracking
- Browsing history or usage patterns sent to external servers
Data stored locally on your device
The following preferences are saved on your device only and are never transmitted to any server:
- Your favourited tracks
- Your default timer setting
- Your playback speed preference
- Your appearance setting (light / dark / system default)
Crash reports
Lullscape uses a crash reporting service to help us identify and fix technical issues. If the app crashes, an anonymous diagnostic report may be sent containing:
- The type of crash or error
- The app version and Android OS version
- Basic device model information (e.g. "Pixel 7")
Crash reports do not contain your name, location, favourites, or any usage history. They are used solely for debugging and improving app stability.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE
This permission allows Lullscape to continue playing audio when the app is in the background and display a playback notification in your status bar. This is standard behaviour for any audio app on Android. No data is collected through this permission.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Required on Android 13 and above to show the playback notification in your status bar. Lullscape does not send promotional notifications, alerts, or reminders of any kind.
Lullscape currently uses one third-party service:
- An anonymous crash reporting service as described in Section 1 above
Lullscape does not use advertising networks, social media SDKs, analytics platforms, or any service that tracks user behaviour for commercial purposes.
Lullscape does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. The app does not require account creation or any form of personal data entry. Because no personal data is collected, the app presents no privacy risk to users of any age.
Since all preference data is stored locally on your device, you are in full control at all times:
- To clear your favourites and preferences: go to
Settings → Clear all data - To remove all data permanently: uninstall the app from your device
We do not hold copies of your personal data on external servers, so there is nothing for us to delete on our end.
All audio content in Lullscape is bundled directly within the app and does not require an internet connection to play. Because no personal data is transmitted or stored externally, there is no server-side data at risk of a breach.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If any material changes affect your privacy, we will notify you within the app.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of Lullscape after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
